Netflix Refusing To Pay Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Unless They Make More Shows

So much for being a financially independent royal couple, right? There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to have to step it up in the productivity department.

That’s because Netflix is supposedly refusing to pay them unless they start making more “must-see” television shows for the online streamer. Otherwise, they won’t be seeing a penny more from their $20 million dollar contract. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, sources close to the situation say that “the lemon has been fully squeezed” when it comes to getting any more must-see television content from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

After all, there’s only so many ways that you can throw your royal family members under the bus, right? It’s also been said that Harry and Meghan have only been paid half of their contract.

One source close to the situation put it this way, “Netflix was pleased to sign Harry and Meghan and is looking for some great ideas going forward. But the remainder of the deal relies on them producing those good ideas. The deal’s continually under review which is normal for ones of this magnitude.”

What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

Needless to say, many royal fans and critics have commented on the matter with, “People tuned into their Netflix series and read Harry’s book out of curiosity – who doesn’t like juicy gossip about one of the world’s most famous families?

However, assuming there is a market of more of the same, and I’m not convinced there is, what can they tell that they haven’t already told?”

Another critic said, “No, Meghan and Harry couldn’t deliver on their contracts, but these Netflix executives and the Spotify CEO trying to blame them and calling them grifters is just deflection.

It was their job to vet their acts before signing them and throwing money at them. And they’re supposed to be good at what they do. They supposedly have the experience to recognize talent.”
