British royal family news shows that judgment day has arrived for Meghan Markle. After a long delay, her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, dropped. Like a rubber biscuit.
Pundits claim that this is a make-or-break moment for Harry and Meghan UnSussexful after a five-year period of monumental underachievement. Spotify cut them loose last year and it’s predicted that Netflix will do the same in 2025.
Let’s take a first look at the highly anticipated series, focused on Meghan’s love of cooking, entertaining, and banal B-listers.
Meghan and Harry’s Last Bid for Relevance?
With Love, Meghan dropped on Netflix at 8am. The show is the latest attempt to earn their $100 million streaming deal. According to the Daily Mail, they have produced exactly “one smash hit and three relative duds.”
So, what does social media have to say about With Love, Meghan? The court of public opinion has been decidedly brutal with one commenter writing “Old adages always ring true – YOU CANNOT MAKE A SILK PURSE OUT OF A SOW’S EAR!” Hey, that’s a great topic for Meghan’s season two. Wait a minute …
Another posted “Wow! The clip with her and Mindy talking about the Sussex name was so uncomfortable to watch.” In case you missed it, poor outdated Mindy gushed over her friend “Meghan Markle” and was quickly told her name is now “Sussex.”

Delfina Blaquier is the p-wife of Nachos Figueras and since she’s in the show she had to write something complimentary: “It’s here! So proud of you, M! ✨ No matter where you are, it’s time to tune in—With Love, Meghan is now streaming on @Netflix. Watching you pour your heart into this project with so much passion, intention, and purpose has been incredible. You were truly in your element, and it was such a joy to witness. Excited for everyone to watch and experience this beautiful journey! @Meghan @aseverofficial #LoveWins.’”
Still, loud appreciation is not the main sentiment from the public with one underwhelmed fan noting “Judging from the still and video clips representing the best this series has to offer – there is absolutely nothing original.
It’s all out of the pages of cooking magazines from the 90s” and another said “If it’s fake, and it is, it’s NOT wholesome. She’s doing all of this guest gushing in a rented kitchen and gazebo!”
How Did Meghan’s New Show Go Over?
With Love, Meghan consists of eight 30 minute-episodes, and along the way Roy Choi and Alice Waters appear.
Experts were in league with the public with Guardian’s Stuart Heritage labeling the show “so pointless it might be the Sussexes’ last TV show … the final thing she makes for Netflix.”
Now it’s your turn royal fans, what did you think of Meghan’s cooking show on Netflix?
