New York Clothing Brand As Ever Won’t Sue Meghan Markle For This Reason

New York Clothing Brand As Ever Won't Sue Meghan Markle For This ReasonMeghan Markle’s new brand As Ever is sure to bury a New York clothing company of the same name in search engines, and they sadly can’t do anything about it.

The lifestyle rebrand has been arguably one of Meghan’s worst ones yet, as several royal and PR experts slammed it as a “catastrophe.”

Like American Riviera Orchard before it, As Ever will sell products like jam and dog treats, as well as cleaning and kitchen items. It will launch alongside her upcoming Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan.’

Owner of New York Clothing Brand As Ever Speaks Out About Meghan Markle’s Latest Rebrand

Mark Kolski, the owner of the “one man band” New York fashion brand, knows that he’s going to have a very hard time working to keep abreast of the Duchess of Sussex and her millions of fans.

However, the 58-year-old doesn’t think he’d be changing the name of his brand anytime soon, especially since it’s had it for over seven years now. But what can he do exactly?

Even though he is “exploring all possibilities,” he knows he hasn’t the funds to win against the Duchess and the corporation behind her.

“This new venture has the power and money of Netflix behind it,” Kolski told the US Sun. “Even if I wanted to do something I don’t think I have the behemoth of lawyers and money that are behind this.”

Mark Kolski Says His Brand Isn’t Affiliated With the Duchess of Sussex’s

At the height of Meghan’s rebranding controversy, the owner of the New York clothing brand Kolski took to Instagram to explain that his brand is a separate entity from Meghan’s.

“I want to say thank you to all the old friends who know and love our small family brand As Ever, and also say hi to all those that have just become aware we exist,” he wrote in the post’s caption.

In the last 36 hours there has been an outpouring of support and concern regarding recent events around our namesake brand. We are aware. We are not affiliated.”

After explaining the company’s founding story, he added, “It’s 2025. We are grateful to still be here making clothing in New York & New Jersey. We are grateful for all the customers coast to coast and worldwide that have supported our venture. We will continue As Ever.”
