Say what you will about a person like Piers Morgan, but there’s no denying that he’s a man that you simply can’t ignore. While he has gotten a lot of slack for his apparent obsession over all things Meghan Markle, it seems like he has a new person he’s been obsessing over: Cristiano Ronaldo. Piers has certainly made it no secret that he is a huge fan of Cristiano and one of his biggest supporters. He shared a photo on his Instagram account of the two of them together wearing Santa hats and captioned it with, “A festive message to our haters.”

Needless to say, his haters certainly did respond. Many of them wrote comments such as, “Messi Christmas to you too Piers. Hope you and your family have a nice time,” along with, “This man is just using Ronaldo and slowly damaging his legacy, Ronaldo is not that bad. SMH.”

Earlier in the month, Piers added the Duchess of Sussex’s name in a very bizarre tweet that he also wrote about his wife. Piers took to his Twitter account to write, “All the trolls raging that I only criticize Meghan Markle because I ‘fancied’ her & then got upset when she ghosted me… have reminded me that I forgot to publicly wish my wife Celia a happy birthday yesterday.”

He also added, “And yes, she knows she lucked out.”

Is Piers Going A Little Too Far These Days?

In his column for The Sun, Piers also called Harry and Meghan “deluded narcissists” after watching their Netflix docuseries. He said, “Given all his bleating about privacy and the media trading off Diana and the royals, it’s hard to imagine a worse kind of grotesquely hypocritical exploitation than Harry now brazenly using his dead mother to flog a reality kiss-and-tell TV series because he needs to justify the Netflix gazillions.”
