British royal family news reveals that reports about Prince Harry selling his mom’s memory for cash are conflicting.
It’s been reported that Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle are producing a project for Netflix about his late mother, Princess Diana.
Yet other reports contradict this account—kind of like a “recollections may vary” kind of thing. Here’s what we know so far about Harry cashing in on his mom’s tragic life.
Will Harry Cash in on Diana’s Short and Tragic Life?
On March 22, The Daily Express reported that Mr. Markle is in talks with the streamer for a multipart documentary about King Charles’ first wife. Harry has made money off of every other member of his family, why not flog his mom?
Diana was 36 years old when she died in a 1997 car accident. She was in Paris with her boyfriend, her two kids being cared for by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
When she called them while on her date with Dodi Fayed, Prince Harry was just 12 and by self-report more interested in playing with his toys than talking to his absent mother.
Prince Harry is Diana’s Second Child
A Hollywood insider source spilled that such a project would involve Harry, not Meghan. They said that Hank “is uniquely placed not only to talk about the woman he knew as his mother, but also to examine her role as an enduring social and cultural icon still beloved by so many.”
That might be true, but could you imagine his older brother Prince William doing such a thing? Never.
The executive added: “It’s felt that this is something he would handle with passion and sensitivity, offering fresh insights into not only her life, but also her lasting legacy.”
Would Prince Harry Really Sell His Mom?
The dishy source relayed that “nothing has been agreed yet” but that talks are happening somewhere with someone “in an extremely positive way.”
What hasn’t been positive for Netflix is Harry and Meghan’s track record. Five years ago they signed a $100 million with Netflix set to expire this year. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, who foolishly signed the detested pair, will not reveal his plans for them after 2025.
Variety asked him about the traitors last week and he opaquely said that the Duke and Duchess of UnSussexful “are overly dismissed.” Whatever that means.
Tell us royal fans, do you think it is right for Harry to cash in on Diana’s legacy? Would you watch such a show?

Please don’t Harry! You’ve done enough damage already. You mustn’t disgrace the beautiful woman she was.
The wrong son is making a documentary about Diana. I think Harry was 10 years old and he can only really talk about his relationship. He was too young to recognize inuendos and her royal life. Willaim has a much better grasp of his mother. I am really curious why Netflix is so gung ho for these two since the only success was when these two trashed the Royal Family. I wonder what that says about Netflix?
Very upsetting to hear that Harry is to make a documentary about his mother!! Can’t believe he would do this.!
It’s a pretty low blow to share his mother’s privacy. It’s all about money with Harry and Megan. Shame on you!!
