Popular Comic Rips Meghan Markle To Shreds After Netflix Debut: She’s A Liar!

British royal family news divulges that not everyone is in love with Meghan Markle and her Netflix fare, With Love, Meghan.

Comic Katherine Ryan is saying what many people are thinking, and her snub of the B-lister is all the more dramatic because she once defended Walmart Wallis.

Like hundreds of thousands of commenters, Ryan is not a fan of Meghan’s pretentious, pompous, Netflix cookery series, With Love, Meghan. Here’s what to know about the comedienne’s salty words!

Katherine Ryan Fell Out of Love With Meghan Markle

Ryan said on her podcast, Telling Everybody Everything “I liked Meghan Markle. I was rooting for Meghan Markle… though she is very Hollywood – even for me – and I don’t like that in people.”

But the scales have fallen from her eyes, and she now believes that Princess Pinocchio “lied about whether she knew who Prince Harry was, and these details about her childhood change and don’t add up.”

Like Piers Morgan before her, Ryan has receipts: “She said on her new Netflix show that they ate TV dinners growing up. But then in an old interview, she was like, ‘we would eat farm fresh.’ Her whole act just seems very manicured and very forced.”

No Love Lost For Meghan Markle

Ironically, Ryan defended the diva back in 2022, saying that she loved “Meghan Markle’s voice and her confidence to challenge the norm” as she did when she was royal. But that was then and this is now.

She went on to say that she doesn’t think Meghan is “a bad person, but I think she likes cozying up to celebrities and she wants the hundred million dollar deal and she likes the fact that she’s married to a prince.”

Well, to be honest, that does sound rather nice. Except that in Meg’s case she’s done nothing to earn it.

With Love, Meghan is a Stink Bomb

Ryan is a native Canadian and lives in London with her three children and civil partner Bobby Kootstra. To her, Meghan’s liberal use of dead flowers on food was particularly grating.

She said “I have seen this, I have seen it from chefs … I also don’t think it constitutes an entire cooking show.” To be clear, Meghan is not a chef, although she had a couple on With Love, Meghan: Roy Choi and Alice Waters.

Ryan noted that “People are hate-watching” the Netflix train wreak and even suggested that the streamer threw “Meghan under the bus where even people who really liked her are turning… not against her, but… she just doesn’t seem to be the kind of gal I would want to be friends with. It’s too manicured, it’s too beige.”
