Price of Meghan Markle’s Royal Tour Wardrobe Is Insane

Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, who recently announced her pregnancy, is becoming one of today’s hottest fashion icon, much like Princess Diana. But unlike many celebrities, her wardrobe doesn’t come free. The royal family has always been known to buy all of their outfits, and they don’t come cheap.

According to News.com.au, the wardrobe of the Duchess of Sussex for the royal tour in the Pacific and Australia is estimated to cost a whopping $213,508. Her wardrobe consists of 41 different outfits and 114 items of clothing and accessories. Her jewelry collection is the most expensive part of her wardrobe. On this tour alone, Meghan wore $123,104 worth of jewelry. (Prices are all in Australian Dollars). Take note, this does not include the jewelry given to her from Princess Diana’s collection, which includes butterfly earrings/necklace and aquamarine ring that she donned when she was in Sydney.

On day 1, the Duchess’ outfit when she took a stroll on the Sydney Opera House costs more than $6,000. It was comprised of the Blessed dress by Australian designer Karen Gee, a Martin Grant style 1 beige trench coat, and a dark green shirt dress by Brandon Maxwell. On Day 2, Meghan wore a black Outland Denim Harriet jeans, Maison Kitsuné shirt, and a Serena Williams Collection blazer, all worth nearly $700.

On Day 3, her clothes were worth about $1,700. On day 4, it was worth around $4,000, day 5 at about $6,000, day 6 at nearly $4,000, day 7 at $500, day 8 at a bit over $3,000, day 9 at nearly $3,000, day 10 at nearly $5,000, day 11 at a massive $10,000, day 12 at an estimated $400, day 13 at more than $5,000, day 14 at nearly $2,000, day 15 at least $5,000 and day 16 at around $7,000.

Meghan’s accessories are worth around $148,000 with handbags topping the list as they are all worth about $12,000. Her shoes are worth $12,000, sunglasses at $900.
