Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie Helping Prince Albert With Royal Twins

Prince Albert of Monaco is getting help from his two sisters during this trying time. Now that his wife, Princess Charlene, has gone into a treatment facility outside of Monaco, the focus has been on the twins.

Prince Albert admitted to the Monaco-Matin that the children he shares with Princess Charlene have “suffered.” Nothing was more heartbreaking than seeing the twins hold up signs for their mother, during the Monaco National Day.

However, their two royal aunts were there to give them both comfort. According to The Daily Mail, Princess Caroline of Hanover and Princess Stephanie were both seen holding the hands of the twins as they performed their royal duties during the festive ceremony.

Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella Away From Mother Most Of 2021

Six-year-old Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques have had a challenging time of it. First, their mother went to South Africa back in the Spring. After Princess Charlene was grounded there due to an ears/nose/throat issue, the twins finally got her back home on November 8.

However, that reunion was short-lived. It was not long after her return home that they realized she needed more help. Without giving away too much information, Prince Albert shared that this was more than the situation around the serious infection. He told the Monaco-Matin, “I cannot tell you more out of discretion. There is tiredness, not just physical, which can only be treated with a period of rest and monitoring.”

The Princess is suffering from “emotional,” and “physical” exhaustion, and it appears that she needs time.

Right now, the Monarch has revealed that he has one priority. That is his family. “For me, it’s pretty simple – my priority is my family. This is an extremely important time in [the children’s] life – the way they grow up helps them see the world.”

He then explained their particular situation. “And if one of the parents is away for medical reasons, the other parent has to be there.”

Moreover, it seems that Prince Albert may have received some advice on this matter. Most importantly, the advice is to focus on the family. This will be best for the children in the long run.

“I have heard too many friends and acquaintances telling me that they wish they had been there for their children, at a certain age, taken up by their work or their professional life. I don’t want to have these regrets.”

Thankfully, Prince Albert has his two sisters helping him, as they navigate this difficult time of their lives.
