Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly titled Prince Andrew, retreated to his secluded Sandringham farmhouse and apparently, he started getting some therapy. Read on for more details.

The Isolation

Reportedly, the therapy started now that he deals with loads of isolation amid ongoing legal issues. On Thursday, ETimes on YouTube covered it in their vlog, echoing a story originally published by Radar Online and cited by The Daily Star.

They noted that Andrew allegedly “began therapy amid fears he was going stir crazy” while living under what looks like an informal house arrest situation.

Additionally, the vlog covered what many royal family followers already suspected: that King Charles forced his brother out of the public eye. While he lives at Marsh Farm these days, it’s not a slum, and got a big upgrade before he actually relocated.

The Security

Security seems very tight with various mainstream outlets mentioning new fencing, CCTV cameras, and restricted airspace. ETimes reminded viewers of that, but also added that these days, signs warn visitors and journalists to stay away.

Invisible Andrew exists pretty much in a vacuum these days. Next, the vlog explored how palace advisers feel the need for protection not only for former Prince Andrew, but also for the monarchy.

Damage Control

In fact, a lot of damage was done to the reputation of The Firm because of Andrew’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Already, it cost him his titles, any royal duties, and curtailed things like his horseriding.

Allegedly, the isolation hit him hard. And notably, it seems that with his previous denial of any wrongdoing, the reality of deeper scrutiny is also a factor.

According to the report, Andrew recently started working with “a counselor who specializes in helping high-profile individuals cope with intense public scrutiny.”

Well, probably few folks sympathize with the disgraced member of the royal family. However, it’s perhaps understandable given his wealth, privilege, and former life involving international travel. Possibly, the sudden loss of his public life really takes a toll on his mental health.

The Therapy

Notably, the Daily Star presented the former prince’s therapy in a rather sensational fashion. However, keeping it reputable, mainstream media tend to refer to it as a structured mental health plan, managed by King Charles.

Apparently, it’s a precautionary measure during the high-stakes investigation into allegations that he betrayed the trust of his country as a trade envoy.

The Investigation

Of course, the legal stuff isn’t over. Remember, the cops arrested him on his birthday in February. Photos arrived of him looking rather stressed in the cop car.

At the time, he was held in custody for about 12 hours. Notably, the questioning focused on how former prince Andrew allegedly shared sensitive information with Epstein.

Public Accountability

Right now, the investigation’s still ongoing, and likely keeps Andrew awake at night. After all, until now, he’s never been held publicly accountable for his behavior. Pointed fingers, gossip and speculation initally drove only a few nails in his reputation coffin.

In other news, we reported this week that former Prince Andrew already surrendered the Order of St. Olaf back to Norway. Few honors remain, and his mental health might be suffering from that change of circumstances, as well.
