Taking advantage of the darkness, Andrew repeatedly has secretly visited Queen Elizabeth without getting photographed by the paparazzi. But what motivated the prince to take that risk of getting snapped? In disgrace ever since shocking allegations from “former Jeffrey Epstein sex slave Virginia Roberts Giuffre,” Andrew wanted to seek forgiveness, claim the sources.

As a result, the prince has secretly tip-toed from his house at Royal Lodge to the Queen’s Windsor Castle residence. And he went “every night last week to discuss his future with the monarchy,” added one of the insiders. “Andrew has been very careful and is trying to keep out of sight. He knows there are photographers in the daytime,” pointed out the source. “And his best chance to avoid them is after dark.”

But the secret night visits from Prince Andrew mean that he directly defied Prince Charles, claimed one insider. Charles reportedly issued a firm order to Andrew to keep “out of the line of sight” and AWAY from Windsor Castle! And Charles didn’t even put an end date on his demand that Andrew hide during the ongoing sex abuse scandal.

As a result of Charles’ order, Prince Andrew does know that he should stay at home. But he couldn’t resist repeatedly visiting the castle. “He knows he is meant to be keeping his head down,” added the insider. “But he is extremely contrite and apologized to the Queen for all the trouble he has caused her.”

And Andrew also has sought to find other ways to end the scandal. In addition to apologizing to the Queen, the prince used money as an escape route. For instance, Andrew reportedly paid $12 million settlement to wrap up Giuffre’s sex abuse lawsuit against him. But he also has consistently denied the allegations.

“He realizes how serious this whole issue has been and the damage it has done to the monarchy,” noted the insider. And Prince Andrew feels guilty for causing “his beloved mother so much anguish at her age and in her Platinum Jubilee year, added the source. But the prince also reportedly recognizes how he has hurt his daughters. As a result, Andrew apologized to both Beatrice and Eugenie for the sandal.
