Prince Andrew Continues To Be Associated With Bahrain’s Corrupt Royal Family

Prince Andrew’s choice of “acquaintances” continue to be objectionable. For the first time since the sexual assault accusations started heating up, Andrew has traveled out of the UK for a five-star treatment funded by Bahrain’s Royal Family.

Andrew’s friendship with the middle-eastern monarchy has been a longstanding one, with the 62-year-old jetting off to the country frequently.

Prince Andrew – Travels To Bahrain As A “Privately Funded” Guest Of Honor

Prince Andrew jetted out of the UK on a billionaire Swiss contact’s private plane just last week to enjoy an all-expenses-paid luxury at Bahrain.

Even though his friendship circle has predictably reduced since Giuffre’s accusations against him – more so when he settled out of court for an enormous amount of money – he continues to have very rich friends who are willing to fund his expensive lifestyle.

There are those predicting that he’s there to try and become a middleman between western nations and oil-rich Gulf states like he used to be before his fall from grace. Others say he’s simply thinking of relocating since his reputation in the UK is in tatters and he’s always favored Bahrain for their championship-standard course, The Royal Golf Club.

He was said to stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Manama where the Royal Suite costs over $9000-a-night and coffee is served in 24-carat gold cups.

Prince Andrew’s – Close Links With Bahrain’s Royal Family

As a working royal, he enjoyed a special friendship with the country’s royal family and was with Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in 2014, 2018 and 2019.

In 2011, he paid a visit to the King’s eldest son, Crown Prince Salman, at his London residence following the death of 40 pro-democracy protesters in a security blitz in Bahrain.

Andrew also has close ties to King Hammad’s second son Sheikh Abdullah, and visited him in Bahrain in January 2014.

Sheikh Abdullah is also known for paying Michael Jackson millions of dollars for him to live in the country for 11 months following his acquittal on child molestation charges.

Over the years, he’s continued to be involved in official affairs relating to the country, including joining a dinner for the Bahrain-British Business Forum at the Radisson Diplomat Hotel in Manama and meeting with Bahrain officials on a number of occasions.

In May 2019, he returned to the country with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, after a prior visit in March, to enjoy the Bahrain Grand Prix. Throughout the visit he stayed at the Ritz Carlton as a guest of the Bahraini royal family.

He was due to be back in November 2019, but his disastrous Newsnight interview put a kink in the works.
