British royal family news divulges that a crucial decision was rendered Monday in the sex assault lawsuit against Prince Andrew but experts question whether it will help his case much.
Andrew’s lawyers wanted an agreement between accuser Virginia Giuffre and his dead convicted pedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein exposed, reportedly in the hopes that it could somehow help to dismiss his own case.

That monetary award agreement was signed in 2009 with Giuffre being paid $500,000 by to resolve her sex abuse case against Epstein.
Andrew’s crack legal team argued that if that information came to light the, “lawsuit she filed against him in 2020 … absolved him of liability for future cases.”
While that document, “makes no mention of Prince Andrew by name, it does stipulate ‘other potential defendants’ are included in the agreement.” Apparently Andrew hopes this means him.
Royal Family News – Is Prince Andrew Correct?
The 2009 agreement reads in part, “Hereby release, acquit, satisfy, and forever discharge the said Second Parties and any other person or entity who could have been included as a potential defendant (‘Other Potential Defendants’) from all, and all manner of, action and actions of Virginia Roberts.”
Roberts accused Epstein of sex trafficking her, and accuses Andrew of being one of the people she was trafficked to, while she was a minor. Andrew has denied this.

Royal Family News – What Will Andrew Do Next?
On Tuesday New York federal judge Lewis Kaplan will rule on whether the settlement can be grounds for a dismissal of Giuffre’s case against Andrew.
In her lawsuit against Andrew, Giuffre, “claims she was forced to have sex with the Duke three times in 2001 at Epstein’s command when she was 17.”
In response Prince Andrew has said she wants, “another payday at his expense.”
Crucially, his friend Ghislaine Maxwell, accused of being Epstein’s “pimp” was convicted last week of, “recruiting and trafficking underage girls for Epstein. She now faces up to 65 years in jail at her sentencing at a later date.”
