But now comes news that King Charles may have scored a small victory in the ongoing PR wars against his spare brother, by reportedly cutting off Andrew’s “£1million-a-year” allowance. The 64-year old Andrew is not a minor, he just acts like one.

One of the problems with the monarchy is that it allows grown men to be indulged like children, with financial allowances, free cars, rent-free housing, etc.
Free meal tickets tend to make dependents entitled, as has been brilliantly shown with Prince Harry, seemingly unable to make their own way, or stand on their own two feet.
According to The Sun, the monarch “has officially instructed his Keeper of the Privy Purse to stop the flow of cash to his shamed younger brother, according to royal author Robert Hardman. A source claimed: ‘The duke is no longer a financial burden on the King.’”
Andrew is ambulatory, of at least average intelligence (he served in the Royal Navy), a father and grandfather. As a grown man he should not be mooching off of anyone.

A new edition hardback includes “never-before-seen information compiled into three new chapters” with the revelation that Charles “has made his final decision after the disgraced Duke, 64, attempted to call his bluff.”
Andrew “hasn’t received an income since becoming embroiled in sex allegations after his long-standing friendship with late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.” And yet “Charles has been reluctantly funding security, as well as a hefty living allowance for him since.”

An insider said “the King does not have unlimited patience” and it’s been reported that the regent wants Andrew and his live-in ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to move out of the immense Royal Lodge and into a smaller residence.
The Sun revealed in August that the king “laid off Andrew’s ten-strong private security detail” and a source spilled that “Everyone is speculating this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge. What other reason could there be to take his security away? They are all working the final weeks of their contract till the end of October.”

It’s thought “the King wants him out … It is now two years into the King’s reign and he wants the matter settled.” It’s reported that King Charles has given Andrew two possible options: pay his security and household bills without an allowance from Charles or accept “more suitable accommodation” like Harry and Meghan’s old home Frogmore Cottage.
Disgraced Andrew was stripped of his senior, royal role after giving millions to Virginia Giuffre to settle her legal case against him which alleged he sexually abused her when she was a minor, and a “former Epstein slave.”
