Prince Andrew Warned About Reopening Sexual Assault Lawsuit

US lawyers have previously warned Prince Andrew that he’s lucky he’s not in jail after news emerged that he’s launching a £10 million bid to overturn his settlement to Virginia Giuffre over the Epstein scandal.

However, it seems as if the 62-year-old is serious about getting back into the hot race with Giuffre one more time. Can Andrew bring the case up again after settling, and should he even attempt it?

In an unaffiliated point of view, I do believe the public needs to know more about this Epstein scandal, but in an Andrew point of view, maybe he should count his losses and head home.

Prince Andrew’s Decision To Reopen Sexual Assault Lawsuit Deemed Unwise

According to an opinion piece published in The Sun, Andrew’s dimmest move may just be to poke the sleeping bear and relaunch the sexual assault lawsuit that saw him get kicked out of royal life.

“There have long been suggestions that Prince Andrew isn’t the sharpest tool in the royal box. But his decision to launch a legal bid to reopen his civil sex abuse case may be one of his least wise moves yet.”

The UK outlet continued: “The Duke spent millions of pounds — much of it coughed up by the Queen and Prince Charles — to make the case go away by settling out of court. Now he is preparing to spend hundreds of thousands more to fight it all over again.”

But why should Andrew seek to relaunch the case? What exactly has changed? Well, if you ask me, I guess it’s Ghislaine Maxwell’s confession that she has no recollections of Andrew ever meeting Virginia Giuffre. In case Andrew hasn’t noticed yet, Maxwell is a convicted sex offender, and this means her words count for so little.

However, he seems ready to bag his reputation, not to talk of his freedom, on this little ray of hope. “In the absence of an original, proving it was doctored is surely a classic case of — forgive us the pun — trying to prove a negative.”

The piece then pointed out that “there are still very serious questions to be asked about Andrew’s close friendship with Ms Giuffre’s billionaire paedophile abuser Jeffrey Epstein.”

“Andrew is desperate to get back to royal duties and presumably thinks it worth the risk to clear his name once and for all. The King reportedly won’t stand in his way.”
