British royal family news reveals that Virginia Giuffre, who settled a sexual abuse case against Prince Andrew out of court, is back in the news for a dreadful reason.
Last week the plaintiff that accused Andrew of abuse when she was a teen sex trafficking victim of his friend, dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, claimed on social media that she had four days left to live.
Years ago Giuffre won a multimillion-dollar payout from Prince Andrew after taking him to court over what she called sexual abuse when she was a minor.
Now a witness is speaking out about the car and bus collision that sent Guiffre into renal failure, according to her. Here’s what to know about this horrific situation.
Virginia Giuffre On Death’s Door?
On Sunday Virginia Giuffre posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed, bruised and injured, saying that a bus struck the car at 110km/h.
Cheryl Sassela is the caretaker at Giuffre’s $1.3million weekend farm and was driving a white car that police described as having a “minor collision” a school bus in rural Perth last week. Giuffre is reported to have been in the car with Sassela at the time of the accident.
On Wednesday the bus driver told Daily Mail Australia that the collision was “blown out of proportion” and “accused Ms Giuffre, 41, of exaggerating the severity of what happened.”
Virginia Giuffre’s Story Rebutted
Sassela told Daily Mail Australia that she’s not covering for Guiffre in this case: “I’m not implicated in a cover up” and added that the crash resulted in a broken taillight on her car. Curiously she then stated: “I’m sure Virginia will release a statement soon to clear it all up.”
Giuffre has “split with her husband” and is thought to be living mainly at the country home with her husband staying with their kids in Perth.
The outlet reported that “While Giuffre said she was on her deathbed in the wake of the crash, Ms Sassela appeared to be unscathed on Thursday, and was seen feeding horses and tending to other livestock.”
What Does The Bus Driver Say?
Bus driver Ross Munns told Daily Mail Australia days ago that he did not see Giuffre in the car he hit but a police report states that a woman “aged 41 was a passenger.”
Guiffre captioned her gruesome Insta photo: “I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.”
This is a developing story and we will bring you details as they become available.
