Prince Andrew’s Mug Removed From The Queen’s Balmoral Estate Gift Shop

It’s long been speculated that the next in line to the British throne, Prince Charles, wants to slim down the monarchy. If that’s the case he won’t have to lift a finger apparently, as Prince Andrew has just received another shove into invisibility and can Prince Harry be far behind?

Disgraced Andrew has stepped down from his royal duties and was not in any of the pictures released from his daughter Beatrice’s recent wedding. Now comes word that not even his postcard is safe from public censorship.

Has the Queen’s Balmoral Gift Shop Stopped Selling Postcards Featuring Prince Andrew?

According to visitors to the gift shop on the Queen’s Balmoral Estate, the store has no more pictures of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, available. The move comes as his involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein pedophile case continues to be a matter of widespread speculation.

One can still buy souvenirs with Prince Edward and Prince Charles on them, as well as Her Majesty’s grandchildren. But if you want something with Andrew’s mug on it, you’re out of luck.

According To Recent Visitors To A Royal Gift Shop Items With The Duke Of York’sVisage Are No Longer Available

One tourist told The Sun, “Previously Andrew postcards have been on sale. But while there are postcards of Charles, Anne and Edward – and even the Queen’s grandchildren, Beatrice and Eugenie – there is not one of the Duke of York.”

The curious tourist asked when, “it was possible to buy one of Andrew,” and was told, “No, we’ve taken them away.’”

This latest move comes on the heels of reports that the family has also elbowed Andrew out of a significant part in his father’s upcoming 100th birthday celebrations.

According to sources, Andrew will not be invited to major celebratory events linked to the event. And organizers have reportedly been told to avoid using any pictures of him in a public exhibition.

An insider told The Sun, “There is a warning from up high to play down Andrew. He will be included as little as possible. It’s not whitewashing history because you can’t leave him out entirely. But it will not make a big deal of his relationship with the Duke of Edinburgh over the years.”

And that is really sad at the end of the day: that Andrew’s bond with his father will not be made, “a big deal of.” The depths to which Andrew has sunk are astounding.

The source continued, “This is obviously proving difficult because he is his son and it’s playing down his role in the family.”
