Prince Charles And Camilla Parker Bowles Celebrate Canada Day With Special Throwback Photos
The official Clarence House Instagram account posted the photos along with the following caption in English, “Wishing all our Canadian followers a very happy #CanadaDay!,” and in French, “Nous souhaitons à tous nos abonnés canadiens Une très bonne Fête du Canada!” The throwback photos were taken during Prince Charles and Camilla’s trips to Canada in 2009, 2014, 2016, and from their most recent trip in 2017.
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for their social media fans to respond to the post. Quite a few left comments such as, “Thank you to our Monarchy and Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians!! Together we make Canada the wonderful country it is,” along with, “Thank you!! Hope you will come to visit our great country in the not too distant future.”
Another fan wrote, “Thank you! Lovely to see pictures of Royal Tours to Canada today! We hope that Prince Charles and Camilla can visit us again real soon.”
British Royal News: What’s Next For Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles?
Meanwhile, it appears as though the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are taking things slowly and are keeping in mind all of the necessary health precautions as they begin to take on their royal engagements and make public appearances again after spending the last several months in lockdown.
While Charles and Camilla have stepped out on numerous occasions near Balmoral Castle in Scotland to thanks NHS and frontline care workers for their service during the coronavirus pandemic, there have been no reports indicating that they plan on returning to Buckingham Palace anytime soon.
