Prince Charles And Camilla Parker Bowles’ Quarantine Fatigue: Here’s What They Miss The Most About Their Pre-COVID-19 Lives
The coronavirus quarantine and strict shelter-in-place measures haven’t been easy on everyone, with many feeling the challenges and even the repercussions of having their daily lives and everything they once lived for stripped away from them.
While Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles live lives that are completely different than our own, the pandemic has managed to upend their lives, too. In fact, both Charles and Camilla have mentioned that if there’s one thing they miss the most right now, it’s hugging members of their family and those they love the most. Camilla has even said that she misses hugs from her grandchildren the most.
In a new interview with Sky News, Charles spoke about the matter and opened up about being apart from his family. Both he and Camilla have been in isolation at Balmoral Castle in Scotland while Queen Elizabeth has been at Windsor. Prince William and Kate Middleton, meanwhile, have been at home with their family in Norfolk since mid-March.
British Royal News: Prince Charles Speaks Out
“Well, it’s terribly sad, let alone one’s friends,″ he said. “But fortunately, at least you can speak to them on telephones and occasionally do this sort of thing. But it isn’t the same, is it? You really want to give people a hug,”
Now, when Prince Charles will be able to give his family members a hug again remains to be seen.
