Prince Charles May No Longer Need To Serve As Prince Harry’s ATM Following ‘Lucrative’ Netflix Deal

Prince CharlesApparently Prince Charles will no longer have to dole out mega sums of cash to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle if all goes well with the latter’s new deal with Netflix. This could be a boon to Buckingham Palace since there have been howls of outrage from the public over taxpayer money being sent to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex even though they “stepped down” as senior members of The Firm. As many fans know, Prince Charles agreed to send Prince Harry £2.5 Million per year until the younger Windsor could find his financial footing apart from the Monarchy.

Now, in an interview with British tabloids, Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has asked giddily the following: “Who would have thought, when the Queen and the Obamas participated in the charming video to promote the Invictus Games for Harry in 2016 that four years later, having stepped down from royal duties, he and his wife would be following the presidential couple in a deal with Netflix.” Yes indeed, and who would have thought that two people, such as Meghan and Prince Harry, with zero experience, would be offered a deal worth an estimated $150 Million?

The unwashed masses must remember that this isn’t about merit on the part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. This is about privilege, about who one knows, and nothing more. Harry has been offered (potentially) $150 Million for something entirely outside his control … to whom he was born … and not for his talent, his skills, or his education.

Harry And Meghan Markle Keep Copying The Obamas

According to Mr. Fitzwilliams, “They (Meghan and Prince Harry) have already signed up with the Harry Walker Agency, for public speaking and Harry has a mental health series to be launched on Apple TV with Oprah Winfrey. The Obamas signed a deal with Netflix two years ago.”

The royal commentator was referencing the fact that former US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle both signed with the Harry Walker Agency in New York. The agency is well-known as a firm that books celebrities to speak at events worldwide. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also signed with the Harry Walker Agency. As well, both the Obamas and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have signed with Netflix. In fact, some believe the Obamas had a huge hand in securing a deal for Meghan and Prince Harry

Fans of Meghan and Harry went wild over the news, but not everyone was happy for the couple. Well known British media figure and commentator, Piers Morgan called the Sussexes out over reports they would produce “family-oriented, inspirational programming.” Mr. Morgan mocked Meghan and Prince Harry, saying “two people who ditched their entire families” made the deal.

Funding Was Source Of Tension Between Harry And Prince Charles

Apparently, even men who will eventually be king of somewhere as Prince Charles will be (if he lives long enough) get tired of their children mooching off of them. That’s particularly true when one’s child is in his mid-30’s as Prince Harry happens to be. Moreover, it’s not as if Prince Harry was asking for just a bit to help pay for the rent during the economic catastrophe that is the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead, Prince Charles has had to fork out literally millions to pay for Harry’s security while the duke skipped about all over the planet spending obscene amounts in order to please Meghan Markle’s never-ending appetite for more.

Still, maybe now Prince Harry will be able finally to make it on his own with the help of Netflix. That is if Meghan doesn’t decide that the couple needs a few more palatial estates, or that she needs to go on multi-million dollar shopping sprees for new clothes.
