A royal commentator has launched a blistering attack on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, describing Prince Harry as a “dangerous commodity” and suggesting the couple’s relevance is fading fast.
Royal Sources and Leaks
Neil Sean made the claims during his Daily News Headlines vlog on YouTube on Thursday night. He insisted he has spoken to “an excellent source” close to the royal family. He said the King and the Prince of Wales share the same view on Harry.
“Let me be clear, chums,” Sean said. “There is one thing that …his majesty the king…and the prince of Wales…agree on. And [it’s] the fact that Prince Harry is a dangerous commodity.”

Sean suggested Harry’s actions consistently backfire. He said this happens whether the Duke intends it or not, adding that “it just seemingly goes the wrong way.”
Dissing Meghan’s Emmy
The commentator also dismissed Meghan Markle’s recent Emmy nomination. He claimed it won’t matter because “the show is a dud.”
He shared an anecdote about working on award ceremonies in the past. He recalled filming an acceptance speech for someone who couldn’t attend.
Sean claimed the charity had paid a lot of money for that. Then the organisers changed their mind. They wanted the person to collect it in person for publicity. The award was withdrawn and given to someone else who turned up.
“That’s how it worked,” Sean said. “I mean it was farcical.”
Talking About Awards
Neil Sean used the story to suggest awards are often about playing the game rather than genuine achievement. He claimed Prince Harry and Meghan love “picking up meaningless awards to put on their burgeoning mantelpiece.”
Sean went further. He described Harry as “juvenile” and “irritatingly annoying.” He suggested that living with him must be tiresome.
He said the royal family kept Harry’s speeches to a minimum for good reason. In Sean’s view, Harry’s Invictus Games speech did little to promote the event and instead “promoted his vulgarity.”
Addressing Other Coverage
The commentator then turned his attention to recent media coverage. He addressed a magazine story that claimed Prince William and Catherine had no idea about the King’s meeting with Harry. Sean called this “absolute rubbish.”
He insisted William and Catherine were in all discussions with the King. They are very close, he said. There are arguments, of course, because “it’s a family. It’s a business. It’s you know that’s the gig.” But he said there was no way the King would have sprung that news on them.
Sean also claimed Camilla was already at Highgrove when the meeting happened. He rejected suggestions she rushed over at the last minute. “Absolute rubbish,” he said. “She was already at Highgrove. I mean that’s the fact she was there.”
Not A Full Reconciliation?
He suggested the 47-minute meeting wasn’t a real reconciliation. It was controlled by the King. It happened on his terms. There was no apology and no photograph.
Sean described this as a clever move. He said it gives the royals a stronger mandate when Harry steps out in future.
According to Sean, nobody was excited to see the Sussexes return. “Everybody knew what was happening,” he claimed. He also suggested that the media narrative suggesting otherwise is simply a leak from Sussex-leaning supporters.
William and Catherine
William and Catherine have drawn a line, in his view, and they aren’t interested in engaging, but they respect the King’s wishes. That is the key point, he suggested.
Royal watchers will, no doubt, continue to debate these various claims, but Sean was clear on one thing. In his opinion, the Sussexes are “a couple that are in rapid decline,” and he doesn’t see that changing anytime soon..
