It’s been no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are refusing to return to the UK as a family with their two children simply because they fear for their safety.

However, royal expert and author Angela Levin has pointed out that Harry and Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet do get the best security if they go to important royal events or if they see other members of the royal family.

However, it seems like Prince Harry is asking for top class protection 24/7 paid for with our tax while being non working royals. She also pointed out that Prince Harry could easily accept a slightly lower level but prefers not to.

Royal Family News – What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “Why he can travel to Jamaica, Costa Rica and Nigeria all unsafe countries without security but I dust to get 24/7 in the UK? It’s clear what he wants his IPP status to feel important.”

Another critic wrote, “He wants what big brother gets. To use security as blackmail for a relationship with his kids is appalling.”

“He knows whilst with senior royals he & the kids get the security he wants. When he’s not, the security is fine, it’s just not as flashy and that’s what he can’t stand.”

And then there was this comment as well, “Just get on with removing titles from his kids, his wife and then Harry himself. Take them off the LOS. If Markle has contributed to politics in her country, why is the law not clear on removing the link to the UK royal family?”

So far the Duke of Sussex himself has made no comments about the matter just yet.
