Prince Harry And Meghan Excluded From Balcony At Prince Charles Coronation?

Harry And MeghanBritish royal family news shows that there will be a big balcony moment for the royal family this year, marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. She has spent 70 years of her life serving the UK and the jubilee commemorates that.

The balcony is the palace equivalent of a red carpet—the place to see and be seen whenever there is a status event taking place. As you might expect royal watchers are tuned in to who and who is not present on the balcony.

Prince Harry and his wife Princess Pinocchio ran away from the monarchy two years ago calling them mean and unfair for not listening to how they wanted to do things, in effect changing up a centuries old tradition. Now the egg yolk looks to be on them.

Royal Family News – Prince Charles Will Be King

One day his father Prince Charles will ascend the throne and there will be a balcony scene with lots of pictures taken for posterity. Likely Harry will be nowhere to be found. Charles wants a slimmed-down monarchy and it was recently announced that his coronation will be smaller and “cheaper” than those of the past. Clearly no one can accuse Charles of being a spendthrift.

Royal watchers are claiming that the grand could exclude one of his sons. According to the Mirror, “royal sources say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t join Charles and Camilla on the balcony after his coronation ceremony, and that it’s likely that only Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children George, Charlotte, and Louis will be beside the new King as he greets the public.” Ouch

Royal Family News – Prince Charles Is Thrifty

The source said, “It will be a slimmed-down monarchy on display throughout. I wouldn’t be surprised to see just Prince Charles and Camilla, Kate and William and their children on the Buckingham Palace balcony afterwards.”

Trooping the Colour is another one of those grand balcony moments, when the royal family gathers to watch a grand parade in honor of the queen. During those events Her Majesty’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren crowd around her.

Royal Family News – Will Harry Receive An Invite?

Prince Charles’ coronation will reportedly be limited to 2,000 (there were 8,251 at the Queen’s), and “fewer members of the royal family will be in attendance at the actual ceremony, as well.”

A source told the Mail on Sunday, the ceremony will be “shorter, sooner, smaller, less expensive, and more representative of different community groups and faiths.” Which begs the question, is there room enough for runaway son Harry?
