However, monetizing the Monarchy has reportedly always been in the cards for Harry and Meghan. In fact, one royal author believes they up and left the Royal Family because they weren’t allowed to monetize their titles.

Even after leaving their royal roles for a life in sunny California, royal continued to be where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s hearts are.

As a result of this, a large number of royal supporters voted for Harry and Meghan to lose their titles, following King Charles’ decision to formally strip brother Andrew of his royal titles.

However, if you ask Tom Bower, the hunger to monetize the Monarchy has always been with Harry and Meghan even prior to their exit from the Royal Family.

Bower believes the couple left their senior royal positions out of spite after the Palace stepped in to shut down their attempts to monteize their Sussex Royal brand.

At the time, Harry could make as much as $1 million for speaking at an event alone, like his JP Morgan speaking event in Miami, Florida.

When the Palace stepped in to block them from continuing to cash in, the couple retaliated with a lengthy statement, which took a veiled swipe at the now-late Queen, telling her that she had no ”jurisdiction” overseas over the word “Royal” and “if they chose to use the word, the monarch – and the government were powerless.”

At the time, royal experts criticized the 1,114-word statement as “spiteful” and “unnecessary.”

Meghan Markle Will Reportedly Fight To Keep Her Sussex Title
