The couple claims that the Queen has no right to stop them. They will continue to use the Royal branding as they please. The Queen found the statement to be “hurtful” since she was “incredibly supportive” of Harry and Meghan’s relationship, claims Cousens. Harry is the Queen’s grandson and they have a close relationship. For a grandson to “diss” his grandson would see “cruel” and “hurtful,” according to Cousens. The news contributor feels that it was Meghan’s idea since she wants to enjoy the perks of being a royal without being a royal.
