Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Inspirational Quote Gone Wrong
Many eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex apparently made a small typo in an inspirational quote from Maya Angelou that they shared on their official Instagram account. Actually, there were so many people that wrote to the Sussexes about the typo that it prompted someone from the Sussex Digital team to pull the original quote down and post a new, error-free one on their account Wednesday morning.
Realizing that social media can be a very brutal place (even for those with the best grammar and social skills), someone behind the scenes at Team Sussex decided to fix the problem. They reposted the quote and added the following caption: “We post inspiring words like these so you can enjoy them, remember them, and share them – all the more reason to ensure they’re accurate. We are reposting because of a typo in the previous quote card. Apologies for the hiccup, and many thanks to those of you who flagged it for us! We do hope you’ll keep and share these powerful words from Maya Angelou. -The Sussex Digital Team.”
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Admit And Correct A Huge Mistake
A lot of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s fans commented on the “typo controversy” by saying, “Thanks for correcting. it’s important to own up to our mistakes love you guys,” along with, “Love you guys. But don’t let anyone bully you. Love love love all the way. We appreciate you for the correction.”
And while no one knows if this was an error made by Meghan Markle or one of her handlers, one thing is for certain: the Sussexes are certainly paying attention to what their critics have to say! So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the online error.
