Apparently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are once again dipping their toes in political waters in America, which will definitely not sit very well with the royals back in the UK. 

Harry and Meghan released a statement this week on their official Archewell Foundation website to try and encourage people to vote for the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Not only that, but they also want to encourage people to vote as well.

Their statement said, “In honor of National Voter Registration Day, The Archewell Foundation team came together for a meaningful volunteer activity to support and empower our communities.”

“Using Vote Forward’s impactful letter-writing tool, our team wrote personalized letters encouraging unregistered voters to take a crucial step: registering to vote.”

Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan Are Encouraging Fans To Vote

Harry and Meghan continued, “Voting is not just a right; it’s a fundamental way to influence the fate of our communities.”

“At The Archewell Foundation, we recognize that civic engagement, no matter one’s political party, is at the heart of a more just and equitable world. By participating in initiatives like this, we aim to amplify the message that every voice matters.”

“Together, let’s make sure every eligible voter is informed and empowered to participate in shaping America’s future.”

As many royal fans already know, getting into politics is frowned upon in the monarchy, as all members of the British royal family are expected to remain neutral.

However, it seems like Prince Harry and especially Meghan Markle are both keen on playing by their own rules and regardless of what the royals have to say about it back in the UK.
