Could they be regretting their decision already? That’s what a lot of royalists on both sides of the pond can’t help but wonder when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

That’s because there’s a new report that suggests the royal couple are already looking to go back to California.

While a lot of people are assuming that Harry and Meghan are going to be living full-time in the UK, it seems like they have plans to split their time between Britain and America, even though the logistics of their travel and the timing of their children’s school schedules won’t always be easy.

According to the Daily Mail, one source close to the situation even put it this way, “ At the end of October, the Sussex family will return to California for half term week, and then batten down the hatches for another five weeks in the UK before they go back to America for a longer spell over Christmas.”

Not only that, but Prince Harry is still hoping that his family’s security situation is going to change and that the Home Office will change their minds and give Harry, Meghan and their two children the protection they deserve as members of the royal family, even though they are not technically working for them.

The insider also said, “He thinks he is going to get some kind of increased security after the review,’ says his friend.

That might, alone, allow this messy re-entry to count as a success rather than a humiliating mess. But then, as one rather cynical associate from California put it: ‘They aren’t relevant unless they are causing trouble.’”

What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

Now, whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen but it seems like Harry is willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. So far the Duke of Sussex has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
