Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Coming For The Queen?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to be arriving in England with their kids ahead of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations kicking off on Thursday. However, as a result of the negative coverage they’ve received in the last few days, they’re uncertain whether they’ll still be showing up. An insider is saying that even if they do show up, it’ll solely be for the purpose of meeting the Queen and celebrating her milestone year with her.

Amid the ongoing rift, a royal expert has claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t spend much of their time trying to mend their relationship with the Cambridges.

Harry is said to be excited to introduce his children to the Queen.

Duncan Larcome, the writer of “Prince Harry: the Inside Story”, told OK! magazine that Meghan is coming along with her husband because she knows how dear the Queen is to him.

The royal author said: “If you take Harry’s recent visit to go by, make no mistake if they’re back in the UK we know it’s only because of the Queen.

“They’re certainly not flying back to see William, Kate or Prince Charles. So I think they’ll spend as little time as possible with them, but they will want to see the Queen.”

He added: “But it’s clearly a trip not to let bygones be bygones and heal a rift, it’s specifically for them to pay their respects to the Queen.”

According to Duncan, one of the principal reasons driving Harry to return to England during the celebrations was the promise he made to the Queen to introduce Lilibet to her. Her Majesty is yet to meet her namesake since she arrived on June 4, 2021.

You can’t blame the royals for wanting to keep their distance from the Sussexes, especially after their press team announced that Harry is working on a tell-all memoir, and there’s even a possibility of a reality show documentary.

He said: “The way in which Harry and Meghan have behaved and the public way in which they’ve relayed conversations between members of the Royal Family – which is an absolute no no, it really is seen as a total betrayal.

“And of course, when they do comeback, they Royals won’t say anything to them apart from pleasantries because they won’t want it reported back and put on, you know, ‘Harry and Meghan sat with Oprah’ again.

“It’s very difficult for William and Charles to say anything to them because that trust has been sold, to put it bluntly.”
