There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be getting their invite to the MET gala any day now. It was earlier suggested that they would probably not get invited at all. One PR expert believes that all eyes will be on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at this year’s exclusive event, as there’s no doubt that they will make a huge splash on the red carpet.

While Harry and Meghan are certainly a very controversial couple, they are still a royal couple that will certainly give the gala even more attention with their attendance.

PR guru Maya Riaz even put it this way, “The speculation that Meghan and Harry won’t receive invites to the Met Gala because of the drama surrounding them is quite frankly hilarious. When you think of the Met Gala, you think of drama. It’s synonymous with epic drama. By having Harry and Meghan at the Met Gala will certainly bring in extra headlines and maybe scrutiny too.”

That said, the timing is going to be a little tight for Harry and Meghan as the MET Gala will take place on the first Monday of the month of May. King Charles’ Coronation will take place on May 6th.

If they do go to the gala and decide to go to London for King Charles’ big day, they will have to make a beeline for the airport almost immediately after the party ends.

What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

Riaz said, “The Met Gala will be held few days from the King’s coronation. So it could be that Harry and Meghan may well be in London in preparation for the historic event. Which could be the real reason as to why they may not be getting the invite to the Met Gala.”

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the matter.
