According to Rebecca English from The Daily Mail, things couldn’t be more calm for Harry and Meghan as it is now understood that she is overdue with the couple’s first child. Previously, Meghan Markle told a well-wisher back in January that she was due during the last week of April. Clearly, little Baby Sussex is taking his or her time while the entire world is patiently awaiting their arrival.
Rebecca wrote on Twitter, “One source has told me that #HarryandMeghanare happy, relaxed and in good spirits. The baby is overdue, as first babies often are, but all is good at Frogmore Cottage #SussexStandBy#royalbaby.”
A lot of Twitter users commented on Rebecca’s tweet with, “Watching and waiting here in New Zealand, here’s hopeing it’s soon,” along with, “In Birkenhead Meghan told fans that her due date was at the end of April beginning of May. Of course, my beautiful Duchess is happy, relaxed and is in good spirits… the media on the other hand is going nuts.”
This will be the first child for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Just last week Kensington Palace issued a statement that said Harry would travel to The Netherlands to help kick off the one-year countdown for The Invictus Games, which will be held in The Hague in 2020. Harry has decided to cancel the trip, further proving that Baby Sussex isn’t here yet. The young royal wants to be at home with his wife and their new bundle of joy before traveling overseas or attending any future royal engagements and public appearances.
So far Kensington Palace has not made any additional comments about Meghan Markle’s pregnancy. We will update you the moment more information rolls in!
