The word “reconciliation” was tossed around a lot, along with the possibility of King Charles finally reuniting with his grandkids after several years.
But, while the word of the day was “reconciliation,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams suggested another one: caution.

For years, they used the media to paint the picture of two “victims,” who are merely suffering under the massive weight of a thousand-year-old institution.

For a while after they quit their roles as senior royals, they would represent truth, justice, freedom, and all those other very purposeful words. But then it’s been six years, and the moving on they left the institution to do remains to be seen.
Even when there are brief cessations, it still feels like they’re in the background calculating, criss-crossing dates and actively looking for any morsel of information that will enable them to cry foul to the world.
If Prince William talks about his favorite way of eating his favorite breakfast food, Meghan Markle follows suit. Every tit still came with a tat. Big royal events arrived with As Ever product reveals and launches. Titles were used to sell candles.
In light of all this, Fitzwilliams has chosen to describe them as untrustworthy. This behavior has also turned many people’s opinions against them, further affecting the brand they left the Royal Family to build.
Regardless of how hard they’ve worked to exploit their royal connections, it’s safe to say that every year spent in Hollywood is another year that gets them further away from the limelight.

Their only course of action, according to Fitzwilliams, is to find a new base after the last light of Hollywood fades away. “What they do have is an international profile; the test is how they use it,” the royal expert told The Express.
