Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just revealed how they’re going to celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas. The royal couple came out of hiding to update their joint Instagram page on the first day of December, according to People. The couple revealed that they want to focus on giving back to worthwhile charities and causes. They announced that they will follow organizations for entire month of December that focus on caring for those in need.

Prince Harry and Meghan revealed in the Instagram post that they have been “inspired by the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas.’” That’s when they decided that now is the perfect time to focus on organizations who give back to those in need. The couple shared a collage of photos from various charities. Out of those charities, Prince Harry and Meghan focused on Centrepoint, a charity that gives back to the homeless, of which Prince William is a patron. The brothers took over the role from their late mother, Princess Diana.

The Duchess of Sussex also wanted to choose charities that are close to her heart. She wanted to include the Los Angeles Mission, which combats homelessness in her hometown. Other charities include the Salvation Army UK, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, and Trussell Trust. The couple said that the holiday season has given them “a reminder to reflect on those in need.” They want to help out “those who may feel lonely, hungry, homeless, or may be experiencing the holidays for the first time without loved ones.”

This year is the first Christmas without the Royal Family for Harry, Meghan, and their 7-month old son Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they’re skipping traditional festivities at Sandringham this year. That hasn’t come without criticism. Rod Stewart criticized the couple for making this decision. He didn’t hold back in a new interview where he slammed Meghan and Prince Harry’s decision.
