Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Deal With A Difficult Situation

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in shock after a trusted aide resigned her position after only six months in the job. She was very important to the success of the royal wedding. As of the date of this article, Kensington Palace has not revealed the reason why Melissa chose to resign so soon.

The Palace has not revealed why she resigned. As of now, an unnamed source said the resignation is a real shocker and no one can figure out why she would want to leave the job so soon. She went on to say that, “It doesn’t make any sense.”

Melissa’s departure comes after Prince Harry’s private secretary, Edward Lane Fox left his job after serving the household for years. He was replaced by the Queen’s private secretary, Samantha Cohen, who is serving as both Meghan and Harry’s private secretary until they can find a replacement.

The biggest question seems to be if Samantha will stay on and serve Harry and Meghan. Prince Harry adores Samantha as he has known her since he was a young boy. Meghan is quite fond of her as well. They know they have lost many staffers over the last few months.

While the Palace has noted that Samantha’s role is only temporary, they have no plans for her to leave the household anytime soon. She is working on long-term projects and she is staying on for the time being.

As for why Melissa left the household, no one is saying nor speculating. The only information the source knew was that her departure was quite a shock to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
