They are finally a family again. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been estranged from the royal family for several years now, sent a message of support to Kate Middleton after she had announced that she was diagnosed with cancer.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to put their feud with the Princess of Wales aside and be a family again. The couple sent a message of support to Kate Middleton only a few hours after she announced that she had cancer.

In a statement that was released to the press, Harry and Meghan said, “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

In her own video message that was released by Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton opened up about her cancer diagnosis for the first time, but didn’t specify what kind of cancer she has.

She said, “I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery.”

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Has Cancer

The future queen of England added that the cancer was in the early stages. She said, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.”

She also added, “We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.”
