British Royal News: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have Oprah’s Full Support In Megxit
According to TMZ, Oprah was asked about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to start a new life in Vancouver. Her best friend and CBS news anchor Gayle King was in the video, too. Oprah, who has always been a fan of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, said that it’s best not to criticize the couple, as they are doing what’s best for them. Gayle added that no one in the royal family was ‘blindsided’ by their decision to leave, despite what some reports have suggested.
As many royal fans can recall, both Oprah and Gayle King were at the couple’s royal wedding back in 2018. What’s more, Gayle was also a guest at Meghan Markle’s star-studded baby shower in March of 2019. Oprah is also said to be close with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
It’s also been noted that Oprah and Meghan Markle are not only good friends, but so is Prince Harry with the media mogul. In fact, it’s been reported that Harry and Oprah are co-producing a mental health series for Apple TV that is expected to debut later this year. However, it will be interesting to see if Prince Harry will have anything to see about Megxit and if his own mental health was factored in before making the decision to leave the royal family.

British Royal News: No Comment From Harry and Meghan
So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any further comments but it appears as though they are settling in to their life in Vancouver nicely. Meghan was spotted taking her two dogs out for a walk while carrying the couple’s son Archie while she was out and about this past week.
Now, as far as when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return to London remains to be seen. It doesn’t look like a trip back to see the royal family is in their calendar for the coming weeks.
