Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Make First Megxit Public Appearance in Miami

British Royal News reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already doing the public speaking circuit and only one month after they revealed that they were leaving the royal family in their bombshell ‘Megxit’ announcement. In fact, it’s believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were on hand as the keynote speakers at a JPMorgan event in South Beach, Miami this past week.

According to Page Six, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were flanked by their security guards and apparently stated at the swanky 1 Hotel in Miami’s South Beach. A source revealed: “It was all very hush-hush, with a lot of security. Meghan and Harry headlined the event as the keynote speakers.”

However, it has not been revealed how much the Sussexes were paid for their appearance or who pulled the strings in order to make the event happen. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle started off the new year with a bang when they revealed that they would be stepping down as senior members of the royal family so they could be more financially independent. And while the plan might have sounded good on paper, Queen Elizabeth made it clear in their final exit negotiation package that they can’t have one foot out the door and one foot in. That’s why she’s declared them to be no longer working members of the British monarchy.

With that said, there are additional reports that say Harry and Meghan are looking for a second home in Los Angeles, which is prompting a lot of people to believe that they will be spending more time in North America than back in London. In fact, there’s nothing in their calendar that says the couple would be returning to England anytime soon.
