However, a royal expert believes that if the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, looses the bid to become President, the US could become hotter and even more unbearable for the couple.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Need To Be Prepared For the Presidential Election Results
Red could mean “go home” or “go to Portugal” for the Sussexes and Blue could mean no more heckling for deportation.
Speaking of deportation, the US based Think Tank has reopened Harry’s “visa/drug” case despite the judge previously ruling that “the public does not have a strong interest in disclosure of the Duke’s immigration records.”
With all this going on for the Sussexes, royal expert Hugo Vickers has opined that the couple have a huge interest in Trump loosing the Presidential race.
“I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he suddenly said ‘Right, I’m sending Prince Harry out of this country,’” Vickers said of Trump becoming the next US president following the Nov. 4 voting.
“And the reasons that he would use would be the drug issue, because Prince Harry has admitted to taking marijuana, cocaine, magic mushrooms – and may not have filled that in on his visa form,” he further said in The Sun interview.
Hugo added: “I think it’s very wise to take all the possibilities into account [and look to live elsewhere]. Looking at it from the outside, it makes perfect sense that they should have a backup plan. But Meghan is very US-based and [Harry being kicked out] would be a problem for them.”
Whether Harry gets kicked out or not, Meghan will continue to have a “base” in the US.
In other royal news, there are rumors Harry has filed for divorce from Meghan following their brief period of separation, which saw Harry jet around the world to support different charitable causes.
However, if you counterbalance it with the news they bought a new vacay home in Portugal, it seems very hard to believe.
