Per the latest reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have donated clothing, children’s items, and other supplies to those affected by the wildfires. They have also opened their home in Montecito to friends and loved ones forced to evacuate.

It’s also been noted that the couple are working with chef José Andrés and his World Central Kitchen, which provides meals to communities in the wake of natural disasters.

They plan to offer support, specifically with mental health recovery, as the relief effort gets underway.

What’s Next For The Duke And Duchess of Sussex?

The Sussexes have even released a statement on their official Archewell website that says, “In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life.”

Many of their fans and critics have commented on the matter with, “It’s amazing how Meghan and Harry get these PR snaps out just in time for Catherine’s bday, and Meghan’s new show starting next week. I live in the US. I can tell you Ms. Ward nobody in this country thinks there are nice people, just grifters.”

Another critic wrote, “Genuine people who are sincere with their charitable gestures do not shout it from the rooftops for self promotion, they do it anonymously. This is appalling. It shows their contemptible and loathsome characters.”

And then there was this comment as well: “People claiming to want to live a quiet life of service don’t self promote their good deeds. They just quietly do good deeds. Remember when they urged would leaders to stand with them and support Ukraine? Pompous, pretentious fools.”
