Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Set To Reunite With This Star Following Pal Fallouts

Guess which of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s celebrity pal danced with Princess Diana 40 years ago? If you didn’t guess John Travolta, you’re wrong.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Join John Travolta At An Awards Ceremony

Harry and Meghan are set to attend an awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, as Harry is set to receive a “Legend of Aviation” award. The couple will also reunite with pal John Travolta, who will be presenting Harry with the award.

Travolta’s history with the royals dates a long time ago, when the star famously danced with Harry’s mom, Princess Diana during a White House gala dinner in 1985.

For whole 15 minutes, Travolta and Diana danced around the impressive ballroom floor to various songs, including You’re the One That I Want — his 1978 Grease film musical hit with Olivia Newton-John.

The audience included the press, fellow star Clint Eastwood and US President Ronald Reagan. It was an iconic night, one that will go on to become one of Travolta’s highlights in life.

Last year, Travolta somewhat reunited with members of the Royal Family when he socialized with Harry and Meghan at the The Beverly Hills Hotel’s ultra-VIP Polo Lounge, where its trademark salad can cost £1,500.

The two shared food and drinks and chatted amicably during the Archewell party hosted by the hotel. After a source revealed that “they all got on extremely well,” people speculated whether Harry and Meghan have joined the church of Scientology, of which Travolta is famously a member.
Prince Harry Set To Join Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin As A “Legend of Aviation”

While this has caused some controversy, Harry is set to join the greats as a “legend of Aviation.”
Harry served in the army for ten years, rising to the rank of Captain.

During that time, he completed two tours in Afghanistan as a forward air controller and an Apache helicopter pilot. He reportedly flew countless training missions in the UK, US and Australia.

The honor will see Harry join other names like Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin – the first and second man on the moon.

A statement on the event’s website said: “A British Army veteran and pilot with ten years military service, flying training missions in the US, UK and Australia, as well as combat missions in Afghanistan saving the lives of allied forces and countless civilians, and creator of the Invictus Games for wounded service members and veterans around the world.”
