Archewell Philanthropies Praises Minnesota Senate For Unanimous Decision To Ban “Predatory AI Features”
In addition to their other works, Harry and Meghan have made it their duty to speak up on how the online world is affecting the young people. Their advocacy seeks to recognize the way social media can cause harm to young people’s mental health.

However, even whilst they celebrate, they did not find it right to let Elon Musk, who sought to oppose the law, off the hook.
Writing in a blistering statement titled ‘Can we all agree technology should not enable predators to target children?,’ the statement started by commending the legislation for enabling such a landmark ruling that is a sure positive step towards protecting children.

Archewell praised the Minnesota ban for being “an example of leadership fit for the digital age: a bi-partisan decision to stop technology from enabling predatory behavior disproportionately targeting women and children.”
They continued their praise by noting that even though the state is politically divided, they still knew when to come together to do the right thing. “It was unanimously agreed that this technology, if not stopped, would protect predators and hurt innocent people, especially women and girls.”
Archewell Philanthropies’ Latest Statement Is A Tongue-lashing To Elon Musk and the Owners of X
As for Elon Musk and those at the summit of the technology industry, Archewell Philanthropies had some few choice words for the way they tried to band together to stop the ban.
For this reason, Archewell continued writing in their statement, “Big Tech has taken shocking steps to limit restrictions on or accountability for these objectively predatory A.I. product features.”

Name-dropping Musk into the mix, they revealed how “the trillionaire leader of the tech company responsible for X’s Grok, sued the state of Minnesota to stop the law from going into place.”
Drawing attention to how several different people from around the world have complained about Grok creating sexual material of them, Archewell further blasted X for trying to cover up, instead of stepping up to solve the problem.
They said the company acted to mitigate “risk to their bottom line instead of aggressively responding to the clear evidence their product features are enabling predators to prey on women and children.”
Referencing a research backed by the United Nations, they continued, “90 to 95 percent of all online deepfakes are non-consensual pornographic images, with around 90 percent depicting women.”
They also noted how the scale of these deepfakes keep increasing exponentially every single year.
In concluding the statement, Archewell expressed their disappointment that several crucial legislation remain stalled.
