As a matter of fact, it appears as though the media and the paparazzi have already flocked to the Canadian city with the hopes that they will get a glimpse of the Sussexes with their baby boy, Archie Harrison. But will tourists soon follow in their footsteps? Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle To Help Tourism In Vancouver?
Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a seismic public announcement when they revealed that they were looking to step back from their royal duties. While Harry and Meghan were hoping to spend about half the year back in London and half the year in North America, that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Queen Elizabeth released her own statement saying that the couple will no longer be representing her at royal engagements and at public appearances. What’s more, the couple is free to do what they please as they will now be financially independent as well.
With that said, it looks like the Sussexes will be spending either a lot of time in their new home in Vancouver or back in Meghan’s native Los Angeles. They’ve only been there for a week but it looks like people are already putting Vancouver on their must-see list for the new year. That’s not just because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live there, but because it’s also a bustling west coast seaport with so much to do and see.

Now, how long Harry and Meghan will remain in Vancouver remains to be seen. For now, it looks like the couple has settled in pretty well, with Meghan spotted taking Archie and her two dogs out for a walk with her security guards nearby.
