Can you believe it? The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be going virtual for a fully immersive experience in the bid to reach more fans. It was reported that the couple are considering partnering with an award-winning technology company in order to create a 3D world where they can offer fans “life-like experiences”.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Feel Virtual Reality Will Make Their Brand “Global”
The Sussex couple are in talks to build their own world in a virtual universe in hopes of reaching millions more people around the world.
They’re in talks with a company set to launch the world’s first public “land sale” in the metaverse, tagged as “the next evolution of the internet”.
Other stars like global popstar Justin Bieber, socialite Paris Hilton and rapper Snoop Dogg have all gone down the hill of creating a virtual universe where fans can gather to have a good time.
Visitors to this virtual world need to wear headsets to immerse themselves in it, and it is made to mimic aspects of the physical world using technology like virtual and augmented reality.
Whether you’re buying goods and/or services, everything will be paid for using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies like it. However, Harry and Meghan’s new deal could take many forms, including gaming, business meetings, and growing online communities, where the couple could appear as an avatar version of themselves.
A source close to them said: “Both Meghan and Harry believe they will have an even greater ability to spread their message if they have a presence in the virtual world as well as the physical world. They’ve spoken to a variety of experts and the view is this is the next stage to take their brand truly global.”
After the pair quit royal duties, they were forbidden from banking on their royal titles to make money, leading them to launch a new foundation, Archewell, that’ll be different from their previous Sussex Royal one.
Since they’ve stepped down, the couple have gone on to grab multi-million dollar deals with giant streaming and audio platforms in America.
According to a report by The Mirror, the couple are in advanced talks to bring their dreams of building a virtual community to fruition. It is said that the venture, which is done in collaboration with Pax.world, is being dubbed “Meg-averse” as Meghan is the driving force behind it.
