It was previously reported that Harry and Meghan would not be spending the holidays with the rest of the Royal Family. While a lot of people like to make scandalous assumptions, the couple is simply on a six-week break from their royal duties. They are spending the time together as a family and it just happens to coincide with Christmas.
It was assumed last week that they were in the United States. However, more recent information from the Vancouver Sun reveals the pair have been spotted on Vancouver Island. They have been seen hiking and enjoying the surroundings.
Royal News — Family Holiday Photo
Around the same time that this information was reported, an unverified Twitter account posted a picture of the couple posing for a photo with their son, Archie. It was adorable, but like everything with the family, it faced scrutiny from the public.
Although it was posted by an unverified Twitter account and faced accusations of being photoshopped, the person who took the photo claims that it is unedited.
Tough Year for Royal Family
There will be lots of work for the couple to do once they return to their royal duties following the holidays. Meghan only took five months of maternity leave after giving birth to Archie. So, they are busy enjoying themselves. As the new year rings in, though, it will be back to work with new initiatives lined up. It has been a tough year for the entire Royal Family, but it is suggested that they will all move forward and try to “reinvent themselves” in 2020.
We will have to see what exactly that means for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Something tells us that they will all be quite busy with new initiatives and projects, just like the other members of the Royal Family.
