It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle really do want to get as far away as possible from all of the drama that might be going on behind the scenes at Buckingham Palace.
In fact, there are new reports that suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might pack their bags and visit Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving this year. Here’s what you need to know.
Just recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it pretty clear that they are feeling quite broken and vulnerable because of all the criticism and negative press they’ve received in the past year.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Heading To Los Angeles For Turkey Day?
The former Hollywood actress says that while she knew being a member of the royal family would be no walk in the park, she had no idea that things would be this unbiased and unfair towards her. During an interview with the ITV network Meghan said that her first year as a wife and a mother has proven to be her most challenging one yet.
And now reports indicate that Harry and Meghan are looking to take a flight out of London straight to LAX to enjoy a turkey dinner with Meghan’s family and friends back in Los Angeles. While the Duke and Duchess themselves have made no comments about their travel plans, it has been noted that they plan to take six weeks off from the spotlight.
Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time that Meghan would be traveling back to the United States. Earlier this year, she had a star-studded baby shower that was thrown in her honor back in March. She was also spotted at the U.S. Open cheering on her best friend Serena Williams in the woman’s finals.
There Has Also Been Speculation The Couple Is Considering Leaving Britain
While Frogmore Cottage is certainly Harry and Meghan’s home base, there has been some talk that the couple are considering a move to either Africa, Canada or even the U.S.
However, Prince Harry has said that the Sussex’s work will primarily be in Africa and conservation efforts in the continent. We will update you with more information as it comes in!
