Even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have long made it clear that they prefer to keep their almost one-year-old son Master Archie Harrison out of the spotlight, they will be pleased to know that fans have started a project in his honor. In fact, a group of fans has started the Sussex Great Forest campaign with a goal to plant 10,000 trees by Archie Harrison’s first birthday on May 6th. Here’s what you need to know.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Son Archie Harrison In The Spotlight With New Campaign

While the group was hoping to plant 10,000 trees it looks like they have exceeded that amount. According to Hello Magazine, fans of the Sussex family have planted over 101,079 in Harry, Meghan and Archie’s names. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are most definitely going to be more than excited about this incredible accomplishment, as they have made it no secret that their biggest passions are the environment and conservation. They have also hinted that they will continue to focus on these issues in the future as well.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are aware of the campaign and even highlighted it in one of their Instagram stories before they closed down their Sussex Royal account. They wrote, “Huge thanks to the amazing group of people who have launched the grassroots Sussex Great Forest initiative. What a special surprise!”

British Royal News: What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

Meanwhile, it looks like Harry, Meghan, and Archie have made a move of their own. After spending the last several months living at a Vancouver Island mansion in Canada, it’s been reported that they are now living in Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles and looking for a place to call their own.

There’s a very good chance that they will celebrate Archie’s first birthday in May with his grandmother Doria Ragland, who lives nearby.
