It couldn’t have been any worse. While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sure did have smiles on their faces throughout what was supposedly the most happiest day of their lives, one photographer has slammed their wedding as one ‘miserable’ experience. In an interview with The Sun, photographer Arthur Edwards says that Harry and Meghan’s wedding was one of the worst weddings he’s ever attended. In fact, he called it a very miserable day.

He said, “I can tell you now it was the worst royal wedding I ever did. Because Harry was determined to keep the newspapers away from it as much as possible.”

As many royal fans can recall, the Sussexes tied the knot in a multi-million dollar wedding – that was mostly funded by King Charles – back on May 19, 2019.

Harry Made His Wedding A Miserable Affair For The British Press

But Harry and Meghan’s strict rules that day made it almost impossible for photographers to do their jobs.

Edwards also said, “Everything was done on long lenses. I had 800 millimeter lens photographing the guests arriving. The photographers they engaged for the job was five feet away. It was just hopeless.”

Edwards also said that if it was Harry’s goal to make the British press pool that day miserable, then he certainly did succeed.

He said, “It wasn’t just me. It was the whole of the British press, in many ways were badly treated.”

So far Harry has not made any comments about the matter but everyone knows that there was some major drama between Meghan Markle and her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton a few days before the wedding.

It all had to do with Princess Charlotte’s dress. While the press initially reported that it was Meghan who had made Kate cry, the Duchess of Sussex said that the opposite had happened and that the future queen of England made her cry instead.
