It looks like they are losing more than their zip code and the California sunshine with this move. Clearly, we are talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as there’s a new report that suggests they might actually lose their titles if they end up getting a little too close for comfort with the rest of the British royal family.

According to the Daily Mail, one source close to the situation says that everyone at the palace is being put on high alert, as they just don’t know what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is going to do next.

Not only that, but it’s also being said that King Charles is being told not to let Harry and Meghan take advantage of the monarchy. They weren’t allowed to be full-time working royals when they were living in California, and they shouldn’t be allowed to regain that status back in the UK, either.

Should Harry and Meghan step out of line, King Charles is being urged to not only sever ties with the couple, but also strip them away from their titles. That certainly makes sense, right?

What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “The King needs to say to Harry and Meghan, if you want to rejoin the Royal family as working royals, you give up your money making and you apologise publicly to the members of the Royal family you have insulted.”

“Then you can come back. Or, he needs to strip them of their royal titles. You’re no longer Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Your children are not prince and princess. You’re back in Britain as private individuals and everyone knows that. He has to be firm, or the future of the monarchy is at stake.”

Now, whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do indeed lose their titles upon moving back to the UK, remains to be seen.
