Royal experts are suggesting that it’s a period of doom and gloom for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There seems to be little more than a wing and a prayer as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s hopes for a rock star life in America are jeopardized by financial woes. Moreover, the lack of sympathy and actual hostility toward Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by British citizens who feel betrayed by the couple threatens to send them spiraling into what might be described as a deep depression.

All in all, when everything is tallied it appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might just be on the precipice of abject failure. If that’s true, one has to wonder how long they will survive in American before attempting to return to Buckingham Palace. Additionally, should those circumstances ever arise, there are those who wonder if it will be both the Duke and Duchess returning … or Prince Harry alone.

Prince Harry And Meghan’s Long String Of Failures

Some have claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s brand was a billion-dollar one. However, the horrid financial outlook of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bank account challenges that claim. First, the only income the two share comes directly from the British taxpayer (despite the fact that they stepped down from their positions at The Firm) as part of Prince Charles’s Duchy of Cornwall. This amount, which Harry and Meghan evidently mooch, comes to about £2.5 Million per year.

Secondly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly spend money as if they’re drinking water … and they have not given up any aspect of the ultra-rich, ultra-privileged lifestyle to which they’ve become accustomed. This means that the cost of their personal security bill (which used to be covered by British taxpayers) and all the other horrifically expensive lifestyle habits the couple share now come out of Prince Harry’s personal bank account. (Of course, Prince Harry reportedly has a net worth of about £30 Million.)

That said, even £30 Million dwindles when it’s not being replenished. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t made a dime since they moved to America. Moreover, Prince Harry’s job prospects are practically nill. Meghan Markle hasn’t landed any starring roles in any television or film projects. (Indeed, one has to wonder if Meghan has even tried.) Whether she has tried or not though, the truth is that Hollywood producers haven’t knocked down Meghan’s door seeking to cast her in any upcoming projects!

Then, there’s the question of whether Prince Harry will ever be able to work in the United States. If he ever breaks down and applies for a Green Card, he’ll likely be subject to American tax laws. Both Prince Harry and Meghan would then come under the ever-watchful (oppressive) eye of the IRS. The Duke and Duchess would likely be horrified to learn the amount in taxes they’d have to pay.

It’s More Than Money Woes For Harry And Meghan

The truth is though that it’s not just money problems that Meghan and Harry have to face. Some may recall that Meghan Markle filed a libel lawsuit against the British publication, Associated Newspapers. Well, she just lost the first round and was ordered to pay £67,000 in legal fees!

As well, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had to shut down and eliminate the assets of their former charity foundation, Sussex Royal.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reputations have suffered as the new book, “Finding Freedom” has been panned by royal insiders and experts. Indeed, Harry and Meghan have come off looking like ultra-privileged, spoiled brats instead of the romantic rebels they perhaps hoped others would see when reading the book’s pages.

Plus, Harry and Meghan have been roundly criticized for their utter, blatant hypocrisy as they’ve lectured British industry leaders, the Commonwealth masses, and more for their supposed environmental sins … while they, themselves, live it up the jet setting and tooling around in massive, gas guzzling SUVs.

The bottom line is that things don’t look that amazing for Prince Harry and Meghan right now. With that in mind, some wonder how long Meghan and Harry can continue on like this … and whether it might not be best for them to come humbly asking Queen Elizabeth (and the nation) for forgiveness and for their former jobs.
