At the time, King Charles figured that since Harry and Meghan were no longer living in the UK full-time, he could give the property to his younger brother, Prince Andrew. But the Duke of York has refused to leave his primary residence, the Royal Lodge.

Other rumors have suggested that King Charles was so upset at Harry for the things that he wrote in his memoir, Spare, that is the real reason why he decided to kick out the Sussexes from their home.

However, the place is still empty a year later. This has prompted a lot of people to wonder: what gives?

Many royal fans and critics have commented on the matter with, “Charles is a petty man and can’t perceive that he himself caused the trouble in the first place.”
