DailyMail.com reports that the Markles’ brainchild, Archewell, “was declared delinquent in January for not filing its annual registration renewal fee reports or renewal fee since February 2023.”

What happens next? California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta could revoke Archewell’s registered status.

The delinquency notice sent to the Markles is dated May 3 and states: “An organization that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds.”

Archewell’s December 2023 tax filings revealed a $11 million decline in donations in 2022 over the previous year. to put this in context “The records showed that the charity received just over $2 million in charitable donations in 2022 compared to $13million in 2021.”

Harry and Meghan named the delinquent company after their son, Archie. The failure was supposed to “do good” just not in a bad way.

CharityWatch is a charity watchdog and claims that “Archewell has inadequate governance and transparency.” Maybe that’s because the joke company has only two board members, Meghan and Harry while “a minimum board size of five to seven members” is recommended.

You can’t make tripe like this up. If the Harkle life story were a fictional narrative no one would believe it, the degree of utter stupidity and jaw-dropping incompetence these two encompass.
